Welcome to PDF Scanner - File Reader. These Terms of Service ("Terms") represent a binding legal agreement between you ("User," "you") and the developers of Translate Bridge ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our iOS application, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Scope of Services

Our PDF application provides a suite of digital utility tools, including but not limited to:

- Viewing, reading, and navigating PDF documents.

- Document scanning via the device camera and image-to-PDF conversion.

- PDF editing, annotation, page management (merging, splitting), and local electronic signing.

- A localized document manager and processing history database.

2. User License and Intellectual Property

Grant of License: We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-assignable, non-exclusive. This license is strictly for your personal or internal business use.

User-Generated Content Ownership: You retain full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights over any documents, scanned files, or PDFs you view, edit, convert, or create using our application. We do not claim any rights to your local files. You are free to export, share, print, or utilize them for personal or commercial purposes.

3. Acceptable Use Policy & Restrictions

We provide you with a powerful document management tool. However, you explicitly agree NOT to use our application to:

Process Malicious Files: Use the application to distribute, store, or embed malicious scripts, viruses, or phishing links inside PDF documents.

Infringe Intellectual Property: Import, edit, or distribute copyrighted books, documents, or materials without explicit authorization from the rightful owner.

Promote Illegal Activities: Generate or compile documentation that promotes illegal acts, fraud, explicit sexual content, or incites violence or hate speech.

Reverse Engineer: Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the application or its underlying PDF rendering frameworks.

4. Third-Party Content and File Links

PDF documents you open or hyperlinks embedded within those documents may direct you to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by us.

No Guarantee of Safety: We do not scan or validate external web links embedded inside your PDFs.

User Responsibility: The decision to click or open any external hyperlinks within a document rests entirely with you. We shall not be held liable for any data loss, device compromise, or financial damage resulting from interacting with third-party content.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the application, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data corruption, document loss, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the application.

6. Modifications to the App and Terms

App Updates: We are constantly iterating to improve our tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service (including specific file format conversion templates or editing tools) at any time, with or without notice.

Terms Updates: We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted within the app. By continuing to access or use the application after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiations before resorting to formal legal action.
